Potentially Great News
Famous, anti-violence in videogames, lawyer Jack Thompson, aka crazy guy, trial begins today to determine whether he will be able to be a lawyer anymore. The Florida bar has refused previous requests from him to suspend his license for 90 days and instead is holding the trial. Hopefully for the good of America he will be removed from being a lawyer and his crazy talk will never be heard of again. Yeah he's an assbeef. You know, we went through a period there where I actually thought the whole 'violent video games' crusade had finally died out, then this idiot came along.
I guess people are never going to realize that parents do actually have responsibilities when controlling what their kids play. It's not the government or manufacturer's job to babysit the kids. Fact is, violent video games sell, and they are FAKE. FICTIONAL. They are NOT REAL. And frankly, anyone who can't tell the difference between video games and real life is either affected by a mental condition or is just really dumb. At 4 years old I even knew that stuff I saw in the movies was totally irrespective of what I should conduct myself like in the real world. Maybe people are just getting dumber.
