Today I passed the Department of Labor and Industry's Special Class Engineer test allowing me to safely operate and maintain all classes of boilers and their appurtenances of up to 30 horsepower and to operate as a shift engineer in a plant up to 100 horsepower.
It was pretty evil having to wake up before 7am to be awake when the test started just after 8. But with persistence and determination I was able to pass the test with a safe margin of error. Hopefully, I am able to maintain a high standard in which future people living in my building will uphold.
